We did sooo many things our first day I have to break it up into 2 posts.
Our first stop of the day was the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. WOW. It was an enchanted ginormous garden of flowers. Simply beautiful and obviously a lot of hard work and skilled hands. They had a lot for kids, with an "old time" area filled with playhouses and obstacles and a mom-loving petting zoo - yeah.

After lunch, we hit one of the best parts of our trip...
